The Kennel Club have made the following announcement:
"The Kennel Club has decided that the allocation for 2018 should be based on that of 2017 subject to changes to the breed club allocation due to rotations and the addition of a small number of sets of Challenge Certificates being added. No breed will have its allocation reduced. Three sets of additional CCs have been allocated to breed clubs to hold a championship show for the first time – Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla C of GB, Pennine & Scottish French Bulldog Assn and a set of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever CCs has been allocated to the United Retriever Club. The Flat Coated Retriever joint breed clubs’ championship show has been rescinded and the set of CCs re-allocated to the now eligible Southern Flat Coated Retriever Club for its first championship show."
